About Kira Epstein Begal

All of DC
All of Montgomery County, MD

University of Rochester, 2004

Kira is a third-generation Washingtonian, originally growing up in Chevy Chase, attending high school in Rockville, and now living with her husband and son in Chevy Chase, DC. Being local has contributed to
her vast knowledge of every corner of the Montgomery County and DC markets. After graduating from the University of Rochester in 2004Kira immediately began her career with one of the premier real estate firms in the Capital Region, quickly becoming the #1 Regional Agent and #22 over all among that company’s 13,000+ agents.

Since joining Washington Fine Properties in 2015, Kira has continually increased her annual sales volume year over year, with her most recent 2017 volume exceeding $55,000,000 in 65 transactions. In 2017 Washingtonian Magazine named her as one of "Washington’s Best Real Estate Agents" as well as one of the "Top-Producing Agents." Additionally, she was also ranked as one of “America’s Best Real Estate Agents“ by RealTrends as featured in The Wall Street Journalfor the third year in a row.

Her business model is based 100% on referrals, which translates to selling to and for clients in all price ranges from just under $200,000 to over $7,000,000. She prides herself on personal relationships and communication with her clients/friends, which lead to repeat transactions.

Kira and her husband have been long-time supporters of the Gift of Life Marrow Registry. They, in fact, suggested donations in lieu of gifts for their wedding in April 2017. Kira and Billy have helped raise over $51,000 with approximately 1650 active donors and have helped facilitate three bone marrow recipient matches (i.e., lives saved)! Kira believes so strongly in charity that, as a thank-you for sending her a referral, she makes a donation to the charity of choice of the person who referred the new client.
