Tom has worked in the luxury sector of residential real estate for over 30 years, 23 of those years in New York City building Sotheby's International Realty from its founding stage into a world-renowned luxury real estate brand. When Sotheby's sold the Realty Division to Cendant/Realogy in 2004, Tom relocated to Washington, DC.
As a broker in the District of Columbia and six states, Tom has made a name for himself as an elite real estate executive who has personally achieved some of the most impressive and important sales on the East Coast.
In 2010 Tom received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate. A co-founder of Washington Fine Properties in 1999, Tom serves as President of the firm, which is recognized as the preeminent real estate firm in the Nation's Capital, Maryland, and Virginia. The firm is independently owned and has nine offices throughout the Capital Region and the Virginia Hunt Country.
Under his leadership, Washington Fine Properties has placed in the Top 100 Firms Nationally and been awarded the "Highest Sales Volume Per Agent" and the "Highest Average Sales Price Per Transaction" by REALTrends, the leading organization in the Nation who ranks the performance of residential real estate firms and is the source used for the Wall Street Journal ranking published each year.
